Dr. Homan founded Canopy Pediatrics, because he loves spending time with his patients and their families. Our monthly-membership model allows our providers and families to develop meaningful, long-term relationships, that are now uncommon in an insurance influenced medical system.
Dr. Homan was born and raised just outside of Fort Worth (Don’t mess with Texas). He obtained his undergraduate degree at Princeton University followed by his medical degree at the Columbia University School of Physician and Surgeons. At Princeton, he met a lovely Floridian, and together they decided to return to Florida, where Dr. Homan completed his pediatric residency training at the University of Florida.
While not practicing medicine, Dr. Homan enjoys fishing, mountain biking, pickle ball, and spending time with his family and friends. His wife is a professor at FSU, and he has three teenage boys. And don’t forget the his two fluffy dogs (who somtimes visit the office), Olive and Skipper.
Nurse Practitioner
Liz is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience caring for children and families in our community.
She has spent her career supporting kids from newborn visits through adolescence, with a focus on thoughtful, thorough care and clear communication with parents.
Liz believes in building long-term relationships with families and helping parents feel confident in the decisions they make for their children’s health.
As a mom of two, she understands firsthand the joys and challenges of raising kids and brings that perspective into every visit. Families appreciate her calm presence, attention to detail, and practical guidance. Outside the office, Liz enjoys staying active and spending time with her family at St. George Island.
We’re grateful to have Liz as part of the Canopy Pediatrics team, where caring for the whole family truly matters.
Christi is our nurse and office manager at Canopy Pediatrics. She helps patients with referrals, authorizations, appointments, and billing, AND she performs lab draws, rapid tests, ear piercing, and provides families with medical advice by phone or text.
Christi was born and raised in Tallahassee. She obtained her bachelors degree in nursing at the University of Central Florida, and has worked at HCA Florida (where Dr. Homan and Christi first met), TMH, and the Florida Department of Health since graduating from nursing school.
When not taking care of parents and babies, Christi enjoys travelling (cruising specifically) and spending time at the pool or beach with her husband, two children, and their cavapoo.
Hannah loves to make new parents feel happy and comfortable at our office, and then she loves to pamper them through our sister practice, Revital Aesthetics & Wellness.
She earned her nursing degree from Tallahassee Community College and her esthetics certification from Lively Technical School. Initially working in women’s health, Hannah developed a strong passion for aesthetics through her personal skin care journey.
This combination of experience offers her a distinctive insight into skincare, enabling her to both educate and uplift her patients, helping them to embrace their natural beauty confidently.
Hannah now resides in Bainbridge, Georgia, with her husband, Tyler, and their son, Layne. In her free time, she enjoys boating, beach outings, reading, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with her family.
